Summary: [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Mid-Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales of cloud security solutions to the UK public sector. This role requires deep expertise in public sector procurement frameworks and a consultative approach to help secure critical infrastructure for Local Authorities, Higher Education, and Blue Light services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sector Specialist: Demonstrate an intimate understanding of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Cloud Security Solutions and their specific value to Local Authorities, Higher Education, and Blue Light services.
  • Strategic Advisory: Position and advise CISO and CDIO-level executives with industry Point-of-View business insights; build and grow trusted-advisor relationships across the Wider Public Sector (WPS) landscape.
  • Navigate Procurement: Develop and close business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas, leveraging key frameworks such as G-Cloud, Data and Outcomes (DOS), and SBS.
  • Ecosystem Orchestration: Align with the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] partner ecosystem and specialized Public Sector SIs/Resellers to optimize market opportunities and regional reach.
  • Precision Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting, respecting the specific fiscal year-end (March) cycles of public bodies.
  • Internal Synergy: Build effective working relationships with internal teams to ensure strategy alignment and achieve mission objectives tailored to community and patient-facing services.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven Track Record: Minimum 3 years selling enterprise cloud or security solutions, with a clear focus on UK Local Government, Healthcare (ICS/ICB), or Education.
  • Framework Mastery: Deep familiarity with UK public sector procurement routes and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making units.
  • Compliance Fluency: Knowledge of relevant standards such as the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) for healthcare or Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • Consultative Approach: A professional approach that moves beyond "vendor" status to become a partner in the digital transformation of essential public services.
  • The "Pivot" Ability: Ability to shift in a meeting from high-level policy discussions to the practical realities of securing critical citizen data and front-line infrastructure.
  • Resilience: A proven track record of managing longer, complex sales cycles while maintaining the momentum required in a hypergrowth environment.
