Paralegal and Trainee Acquisition Associate

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Limited is looking for a Paralegal and Trainee Acquisition Associate. This hybrid role is based in London and requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Job Summary

The Paralegal and Trainee Acquisition Associate is a key role across the Paralegal Engagement & Acquisition team, who manage our paralegal candidates and the Talent team who manage our Legal and Co Sec Trainee candidates. It requires someone with very strong organisational skills who is able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail while adhering to client deadlines. This role involves being able to think on your feet, solve problems and make effective decisions. It requires someone to be passionate about delivering great outcomes to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s clients and candidates, while juggling competing demands and managing a varied workload.

  • Paralegal candidate pool
  • Paralegal attraction, vetting and onboarding
  • Trainee candidate pool for legal trainees and Company Secretary trainees
  • Trainee candidate attraction and assessment
  • Client Matching for both paralegal and trainee opportunities

This role is split across the Paralegal Team and the Talent team - responsible for trainee candidates. Allocation of work will depend on the volume of client opportunities and candidate requirements within the business.

Through the CDS, you will get exposure to all aspects of our growing business while also developing your personal and professional competences. As an Associate on the CDS, your role will enable you to:

  • develop excellent client communication and client care skills
  • have direct access to lawyers of all levels of seniority in our extensive client base as well as lawyers and/or paralegals in our vast database of candidates
  • gain experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • learn how to organise and prioritise your workload effectively
  • negotiate commercial terms with our clients and candidates

Our aim is that when you leave the CDS you will have the skills and confidence to flourish in your forthcoming legal or professional career.

Role Responsibilities

In the Paralegal Team

  • finding, screening, interviewing and onboarding candidates to join the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] platform
  • meeting clients to understand their requirements
  • dealing with client requests in accordance with Paralegal Engagement & Acquisition Team processes and SLAs
  • identifying the best candidates for each client’s request and building high-quality, compelling proposals to win those requests
  • providing end-to-end placement support for candidates and clients to ensure all placements are successful
  • taking responsibility for specific operational tasks within the Paralegal Acquisition & Engagement team, eg compliance tasks, allocating cases on Salesforce and monitoring Salesforce reports/data; assigning and overseeing onboardings; dealing with AWR etc
  • contributing to the delivery of quarterly OKRs for Paralegal Engagement & Acquisition team
  • ensuring compliance with regulations, commercial agreements and company policies
  • working alongside Client, Marketing, Technology and Finance teams to ensure a positive experience for our clients and candidates

In the Talent Team

  • Assisting with trainee candidate attraction initiatives; such as University outreach and social media marketing
  • Screening trainee candidates for eligibility
  • Trainee assessment; including marking online assessments, conducting interviews and contributing to in person assessment centre
  • Administrative and coordination assistance for Assessment Centres
  • Inbound candidate communications management
  • Trainee-in-waiting onboarding
  • Candidate matching for trainee opportunities and creation of high-quality, compelling client proposals
  • Facilitation of candidate/client interviews and post-interview feedback
  • Assistance with preparation for 3 week Readiness Programme training conference (twice yearly)
  • In person operational assistance across three week readiness programme (twice yearly)

We are looking for a full-time commitment for at least 12 months.
