We are now looking for an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and support services across the organisation, ensuring that systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with business needs.

A core accountability of the role is ownership of ISO 27001 and the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring ongoing compliance, audit readiness, and continual improvement in information security and operational maturity.

Responsibilities

• IT Operations & Service Management: Manage daily delivery of IT support services; act as senior escalation point; oversee availability, performance, and reliability of systems; ensure monitoring, patching, backup, and disaster recovery; maintain documentation.
• Infrastructure, Systems & Applications: Oversee servers, networks, endpoints, SaaS platforms; manage user access in Salesforce; support upgrades, implementations, integrations; manage IT assets lifecycle.
• Information Security & ISO 27001 Ownership: Act as ISO 27001 and ISMS Owner; maintain and improve ISMS; lead risk assessments; coordinate audits; manage audit findings; maintain policies.
• Governance, Risk & Business Continuity: Support IT BCPs and DR; ensure legal/regulatory compliance; produce reports for senior stakeholders.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Manage supplier relationships; ensure service levels; work with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure management, and service delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 and practical experience managing an ISMS.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Knowledge of information security risk management and governance frameworks.
• Proven experience managing secure IT environments aligned with Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) including lifecycle management, asset tracking, licensing compliance, and auditing.
• Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 (O365) including user management, security policies, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Educational Requirements: Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline. Professional certifications (ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ITIL, security certifications) desirable.
