The Role

Here you will be part of the Engineering/Operational team ensuring upkeep and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Some of the key duties and training will involve:

  • Providing effective and efficient maintenance to maximize equipment availability
  • Routine maintenance and inspection of equipment in line with company Safety and Quality policies
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and Good Operating Practices
  • Fault diagnosis/rectification on equipment/machinery across all areas of the brewery
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and react to emergency repairs

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 x GCSEs or equivalent – Grade C or above (Maths Grade B as a minimum) including Maths, English and Science
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ambitious and willing to work hard to achieve excellent results
  • Reliable, punctual and driven to succeed
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy

Training to be provided

Successful candidates will complete a full apprenticeship programme to include NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma, BTEC Level 3 and 5 Essential Skills at Level 2.

Training will combine on-site Company based training at the brewery and attendance at the training centre on a block release basis.
