The Role
Here you will be part of the Engineering/Operational team ensuring upkeep and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Some of the key duties and training will involve:
- Providing effective and efficient maintenance to maximize equipment availability
- Routine maintenance and inspection of equipment in line with company Safety and Quality policies
- Contributing to continuous improvement and Good Operating Practices
- Fault diagnosis/rectification on equipment/machinery across all areas of the brewery
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and react to emergency repairs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 x GCSEs or equivalent – Grade C or above (Maths Grade B as a minimum) including Maths, English and Science
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ambitious and willing to work hard to achieve excellent results
- Reliable, punctual and driven to succeed
- Ability to use own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy
Training to be provided
Successful candidates will complete a full apprenticeship programme to include NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma, BTEC Level 3 and 5 Essential Skills at Level 2.
Training will combine on-site Company based training at the brewery and attendance at the training centre on a block release basis.
