Community Nursing Assistant

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Community Nursing Assistant to support Registered Nurses on evening shifts (5pm-10pm) to help patients remain at home and avoid hospital admission.

  • Salary: £24,937 - £26,598 per annum pro rata

Job Description

This role is crucial in supporting Registered Nurses on an evening to enable patients to remain at home and avoid hospital admission. You will support the Registered Nurse, responding to intervention call outs between 5pm and 10pm. You may also work alongside a colleague and visit patients to deliver planned care.

You must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. It would be expected that you are available to work on a rota over 7 evenings per week, 365 days per year. Your hours of work will be 17:00pm - 22:00pm. The role is based from Hunslet Health Centre, though it is expected that you travel across the city of Leeds during your shift.

The contract is for a minimum of 10 hours (2 evenings) up to a maximum of 30 hours (6 evenings). Please note we are unable to offer sponsorship for this job role. You must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
