FULL DESCRIPTION
Regional Account Manager – Midwest
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a leader in advanced cellular therapies and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, with two FDA approved therapies, Omisirge® (omidubicel-onlv) and APHEXDA® (motixafortide). The Regional Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for transplant centers in the territory. This role is remote for MI, WI, IL, MO and reports to the National Sales Director.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a territory business plan in line with brand strategy to support Omisirge® and APHEXDA® and effectively communicate clinical messaging and the value propositions for both products
- Monitor market trends to provide input into strategy, identify growth opportunities and ensure strategy execution for the territory
- Build strong relationships with hematopoietic stem cell transplant physicians, thought leaders, and other key stakeholders in the territory
- Ensure education and support is provided to the transplant centers for appropriate receipt, storage, and preparation of Omisirge® and APHEXDA® to ensure a positive transplant center and patient experience
- Collaborate closely with medical affairs, market access, and other cross functional colleagues to align on the strategy and execution for both products within the territory
- Demonstrate strong clinical acumen in Hematology/Oncology, Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, and mobilization
- Effectively manage territory budget to maximize resources according to the business needs
- Ensure the territory meets or exceeds goals and executes the brand strategy set forth
- Identify opportunities in the territory, share best practices, and proactively communicate strategies for improvements to cross-functional partners and leadership
- Manage implementation of all promotional activities to support account management and marketing strategies, in accordance with appropriate policies
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- 7+ years industry experience with 3-5 years of Hematology biotech/pharmaceutical account management /equivalent experience: launch experience and knowledge of Cell and Gene Therapy strongly preferred
- BA/BS required
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Demonstrated experience in fostering collaboration within a cross functional environment
- Able to rapidly identify issues and effectively implement solutions
- Equipped to learn and retain highly scientific and technical product and disease information
- Capable of demonstrating flexibility, problem-solving and change management
- Committed to making a positive contribution to the company and establish trust and credibility with team members
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills with an innate ability to build relationships
