Salary: £25,176 FTE per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Hours: 34 hours per week (part-time)

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

You will be working closely with the Team Manager and Hertfordshire Children’s Services to provide a safe, happy and positive experience for families, children and young people who have been referred to the service. You will provide Supervised Family Time for those referred to the service by their Social Workers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of safe and effective supervised Family Time sessions.
  • Promote and maintain Family Time arrangements agreed between all parties.
  • Understand and comply with safeguarding procedures and undertake risk assessments.
  • Assess quality of parenting observed and complete detailed reports for court/social worker.
  • Ensure sessions are positive for children and young people.
  • Recognise risks and intervene appropriately.
  • Keep records using [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] systems and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel to sessions in other areas.
  • Contribute to data collection and provide accurate reports.
  • Participate in supervision, training and appraisal.
