Our Children & Family Centres in Gloucestershire provide welcoming, supportive spaces offering whole family, universal and targeted activities for families with children of all ages.
- Location: Cotswolds & Stroud Districts, Gloucestershire
- Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time)
- Salary: £25,221 - £27,780 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- Closing Date: Friday 1st April 2026 at 11.59pm
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Family Hub Practitioner to develop and deliver a range of universal and targeted sessions across our centres and community venues. You will create and deliver engaging stay & play groups, early communication activities, baby sessions and evidence based parenting programmes. You will ensure families feel welcome, included and supported, promoting child development, early attachment and parental confidence. The role involves close partnership working with health, early years and other key agencies to deliver a broad, integrated offer across the Family Hub network.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with early years children and families
- Strong knowledge of child development and safeguarding
- Confidence facilitating group sessions
- Values driven, organised, reflective
- Ability to build positive relationships with families and partner agencies
- A Level 3+ early years/health/social care/community qualification
- Full driving licence
