Solicitor/Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Debt Recovery Paralegals.
• Conduct and authorise litigation within the Debt Recovery team.
• Work collaboratively with the Head and Deputy Head of Department to meet performance targets.
• Support training and development of your team.
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings.
• Support client retention and maximise debt recovery.
• Commence Debt Pre-Action Protocol, negotiate with debtors, carry out searches.
• Issue Part 7 proceedings, draft court documents (Attachment of Earnings, Charging Orders), liaise with High Court Enforcement Agents.
• Draft Witness Statements and prepare cases for Trial.

Requirements

Expected

• 1-3 years PQE, admitted in England.
• Strong litigation knowledge and experience.
• Experience of Civil Procedure Rules and Debt Pre-Action Protocols.
• Debt Recovery experience.

Desirable

• Experience in a leadership role or similar.

Working Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexibility between 7:00am – 7:00pm. Fully office-based.
