Christmas Media-PR Assistant

This homebased, part-time role involves drafting press releases, monitoring media coverage, and coordinating with services to highlight Christmas initiatives.

Salary: £24,206 FTE per annum (£9,682.40 per annum, pro rata = 14.8 hours per week for 12 weeks). Additionally, £480 home-based allowance pro rata per annum. Secondment position available.
Location: Homebased
Hours: Part-time, 14.8 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements available.
Contract: Fixed term contract for 12 weeks.

Main Responsibilities
- Drafting compelling localised press releases that highlight [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s Christmas initiatives and services, and distributing these.
- Collaborate and coordinate with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s services to gather information on Christmas activities and imagery for media use.
- Monitor media coverage, log results, and compile coverage reports using our media monitoring system.
- Support and log media enquiries and contacts.
Main Requirements
- Interest in media relations or communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and people skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
