Locality Team Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Locality Team Manager to lead children and family centres in Stroud and Cotswolds. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of £37,211 - £41,518 per annum, with benefits including 30 days annual leave, pension contributions, and professional development opportunities.
About the Role
As a Locality Team Manager, you will provide effective management and leadership to a team of family support workers, universal practitioners, and community engagement staff. You will work in partnership with the management team to support the development of a comprehensive family hub offer across Stroud and The Cotswolds. You will work closely with stakeholders and actively engage in local and district boards to implement the family hub model.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide direct line management and leadership to a staff team, including performance management, reflective supervision, and robust monitoring of quality.
- Develop skills and knowledge of direct reports through induction, continuous learning, and identification of learning needs.
- Oversee planning, delivery, and coordination of universal activities and programmes for children and families, using evidence of need and co-production.
- Triage and prioritise referrals, manage case allocations, and ensure effective deployment of family support workers.
Main Requirements
- Professional experience with children, young people and families, including up-to-date knowledge of complex safeguarding issues and integrated working practices.
- Experience of delivering positive outcomes for children and families and managing family support services.
- Experience in service delivery and support, guidance, and development of frontline staff, including parenting programmes, strengths-based approaches, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed practice.
- Appointments subject to satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
