We are looking for a motivated and committed Triage and Information Officer to work within our statutory SENDIASS service in Wiltshire. The service provides confidential and impartial advice on the rights in the SEND process and other relevant legislation and SEND policy, supporting navigation through the SEND assessment process.
You will be a fundamental team player with strong focus on improving outcomes for children, young people and their families through offering high quality first point of contact for our busy SENDIASS service. You will strive for excellent standards of customer service, showing empathy and understanding and offering timely information and signposting.
Your impact
You will make a difference to the lives of children, young people with SEND and their families by delivering swift, consistent and effective support, signposting to other services in Wiltshire and identifying cases that require more detailed intervention from SENDIASS Case Officers and/or the Child and Young Person Lead.
Your skills
You will be a confident communicator across a range of formats including enquiries received by telephone and email. You will play a key role in the development and formulation of information on our website and social media accounts, such as Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
Being part of a high performing team, you will be trained to IPSEA Level 1 in order to give appropriate advice and support to children, young people and their families in a service and organisation that provides great opportunities for career development and progression.
