[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a registered charity building stronger families since 1869. We work with over 60,000 families in 150+ community-based services. This role is for an experienced, passionate youth leader to develop youth participation in Stroud and Cotswolds.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as overall lead for youth participation & outreach, championing young people's voices.
  • Support development of Stroud & The Cotswolds Youth Participation strategy alongside young people and local stakeholders like schools, police, health.

Main Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Youth and Community Work minimum Level 3.
  • Experience of leading participation using various tools.
  • Experience supporting young people's voice and influence.
  • Experience managing safe youth work practice.
  • Knowledge of contemporary youth issues and emotional health.
  • Knowledge of National Participation Standards and UNCRC.
  • Strong relational skills.
