Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Load and unload cargo securely, in line with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with planners and logistics teams to update on delivery schedules
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 1 HGV licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Class 1 driver (tramping experience preferred)
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently
- Strong understanding of driving regulations and transport safety
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
