We’re looking for an experienced and influential Senior SSHEQ Advisor to lead high‑impact safety, sustainability, and quality initiatives across our projects and operations. As a key member of our SSHEQ team, you’ll provide expert guidance, lead complex audits and investigations, support high‑risk activities, and champion sustainability across the business. You’ll play a central role in shaping our SSHEQ strategy, mentoring colleagues, and embedding a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead SSHEQ initiatives, audits, investigations, and improvement programmes
  • Provide expert advice on high‑risk activities, RAMS, and compliance
  • Drive sustainability, environmental performance, and carbon reduction
  • Analyse SSHEQ data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Mentor and support teams across multiple sites and projects

What You Bring

  • Strong SSHEQ experience in operational or project environments
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Expertise in audits, incident investigation, risk assessment, and data analysis
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and ISO 9001/14001/45001
  • Practical, solutions‑focused approach with strong attention to detail

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
  • Tech IOSH
  • Associate Member of IEMA
  • NRSWA, CSCS
  • Lead/Internal Auditor training
  • Full UK driving licence
