Job Description

We’re the team behind the UK’s telecom networks—building, upgrading, and keeping the country connected! From fibre installs to 5G rollouts, we make it happen with innovation, speed, and a smile. If you love a challenge and want to be part of something big, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is the place to be.

Are you a detail-oriented professional who loves keeping projects on track? We are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our delivery teams. This isn't just about spreadsheets; it’s about being the glue that holds our project lifecycle together.

You’ll provide the structured administrative backbone and coordination support needed to ensure our projects—both delivery-focused and internal—are planned, governed, and executed flawlessly. From managing "whereabouts" for live sites to ensuring our reporting is pinpoint accurate, you will enable our teams to make informed decisions and hit every milestone.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Project Lifecycle Support: You'll maintain the schedules, trackers, and action lists that keep us moving. You’ll be the gatekeeper of project documentation, ensuring job packs and work instructions are accurate and ready for stakeholders.
  • Governance & Compliance: You will navigate the essentials of project delivery, including statutory permits, Streetworks notices, and "Asbuilt" submissions. You’ll ensure our records are auditable and meet all internal and contractual standards.
  • Operational Coordination: Acting as a central hub, you’ll update schedules and trackers to provide real-time visibility of live activities. You’ll also coordinate project meetings, ensuring every action is captured and followed up.
  • Data & Reporting: You will manage data across multiple internal and external systems, validating inputs for daily, weekly, and monthly reports. You’ll have a keen eye for spotting discrepancies before they become issues.
  • Relationship Management: You’ll build and maintain strong bonds with internal teams, clients, ensuring communication flows smoothly and queries are handled promptly.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team

The Essentials

  • Experience: You’ve previously supported projects or operational teams in a coordination or administrative role.
  • Organisational Skills: You can juggle multiple deadlines and activities simultaneously without losing your focus on accuracy.
  • Communication: You’re a clear and confident communicator, whether you’re writing a report or speaking with a client.
  • Tech Savvy: You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel is your best friend) and quick to learn new systems and project tools.
  • Problem-Solving: You have a solutions-focused mindset and aren't afraid to escalate risks when you see them.

The "Nice-to-Haves"

  • Familiarity with statutory permit-based processes (like Streetworks or NOIs).
  • An APM Project Fundamentals (PFQ) or PRINCE2 Foundation qualification.
  • An understanding of the core project management lifecycle and controls.
