Retirement Housing Officer (Droitwich)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking a dedicated Retirement Housing Officer to join our specialist housing team in Droitwich. This is a permanent, part-time role (28 hours per week) with a salary of up to £25,524 pro rata (£17.47 per hour).

Job Description

As a Retirement Housing Officer, you will provide a housing and tenancy management service to maximise tenancy sustainment for older residents. You will be a regular and flexible customer contact, offering practical and preventative support, and signposting to specialist care services to maximise wellbeing and minimise isolation. You will also manage building inspections, risk assessments, H&S monitoring, compliance checks, and respond to tenancy/leasehold breaches.

Requirements

  • Customer focused with experience solving complex issues
  • Awareness of working with vulnerable adults (desirable)
  • Great interpersonal skills and communication with diverse backgrounds
  • High standards and improvement focus
  • Confidence using digital devices, ICT software and systems
  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
