Overview

We are hiring a Global Strategy Director to lead media thought leadership for one of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s most iconic and influential global partnerships: L’Oréal. Working with the world’s leading beauty company, this role sits at the intersection of media, data, and digital craft — shaping how global strategy is developed, delivered, and activated across markets. You’ll play a pivotal role in turning insight into impact, ensuring global thinking lands meaningfully at a local level while unlocking new growth opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Lead global media planning thought leadership, ensuring consistency, quality, and effectiveness across markets.
  • Partner closely with the Global Business Director and Head of Media to identify opportunities for planning improvement and operational excellence.
  • Act as the global planning lead, embedding strategy into markets and supporting local teams to deliver against global ambition.
  • Design and drive test‑and‑learn initiatives that unlock new growth opportunities for L’Oréal using the full [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] offering.
  • Champion the development and adoption of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s Connected Identity proposition across priority markets.
  • Provide tailored strategic support for local market pitches, strengthening proposals and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in media planning roles, with a strong understanding of cross‑channel digital strategy and activation.
  • Experience working in a European or global role within a media agency environment.
  • A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to bring structure, rigour, and clarity to complex challenges.
  • Confidence in storytelling, turning data and insight into compelling strategic narratives.
  • A collaborative communication style, able to build trust across diverse, global teams.
  • An entrepreneurial, proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery when needed in a small, agile team.
