Health & Safety Manager

This is a full-time, on-site role at the iconic Television Centre in White City, London, with travel to other London offices. The role involves developing and maintaining H&S plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring legal compliance, and managing ISO45001 accreditations.

Overview

We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety manager to develop and maintain H&S plans, policies, and procedures including legal compliance to all workplace related fire and security regulations for all managed properties within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all parties in managed buildings comply with applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Create and implement workplace health and safety plans in line with guidelines.
  • Review practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risks and legal compliance.
  • Provide training and presentations on health and safety topics and accident prevention.
  • Monitor compliance in shared areas of managed buildings and escalate non-compliance.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery at managed sites to identify unsafe conditions.
  • Collaborate with Building Managers to issue permits for contractors.
  • Maintain accident and incident records for Resources UK staff and report RIDDOR cases.
  • Oversee ISO45001 accreditations for Groupe-managed buildings and ensure BCP requirements.
  • Recommend solutions for ongoing health and safety issues.
  • Demonstrate understanding of relevant legislation and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Policies (Janus).
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with tenants/clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Safety and Compliance Manager
  • Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety legal guidelines
  • Produce accurate, concise procedural documents, reports and records.
  • Management of ISO45001 accreditations and BCP.
  • Management of risk assessments
  • NEBOSH qualifications or equivalent.

Skills

  • Good Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Outlook, and knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong management and communication skills

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday to Friday. Our main office is at the iconic Television Centre (TVC) in White City, London, and the role will also involve travel to our other offices in London.
