Overview

This is a brand‑new role, created for someone who wants to shape how resourcing really works in a modern agency. You won’t be stepping into a pre‑set model. You’ll be trusted to build the benchmark and set the standards.

Roles like this don’t come up often in the agency world, and that’s what makes it special. If you enjoy having space, influence and backing to do things properly, this one’s for you.

Responsibilities

  • Building and leading a central resourcing approach across our agencies, with the freedom to design what “good” looks like
  • Setting clear ways of working that help teams get the right people, at the right time, without burning anyone out
  • Being the go‑to person for tricky resourcing calls, balancing client needs, team wellbeing and commercial reality
  • Working closely with agency leaders, finance and talent to plan, not just react
  • Spotting gaps early and suggesting smart solutions, whether that’s moving people, upskilling, hiring or using partners
  • Using data and insight to tell a clear story about capacity, risk and opportunity
  • Leading and developing a strong resourcing team, giving them clarity, confidence and room to grow

Why this role is different

  • It’s new. You’ll help shape the role, not inherit someone else’s legacy
  • You’ll have real influence at the senior level, with visibility and trust
  • You’ll set the benchmark for resourcing across the business
  • It’s rare. Roles like this don’t come up often in agencies
  • You’ll balance impact with humanity, helping teams thrive while protecting the business

Qualifications

  • Experience in resourcing, workforce or capacity planning in a complex business
  • A good commercial head. You’re comfortable linking People decisions to business outcomes
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into clear, useful insight
  • A fair and thoughtful approach to decision‑making, even when things are complicated
  • Comfort handling sensitive information with care and discretion
  • Curiosity and openness. You enjoy improving how things work, not just maintaining them
