Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Healthcare Assistants to join our team and contribute to improving the lives of individuals with diverse needs. You will play a vital role in delivering excellent services that promote recovery and well-being, while providing compassionate care to our patients and their carers.
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Minimizing the impact of learning disabilities by delivering exceptional care that promotes recovery and well-being.
- Meeting the needs of patients and their carers with empathy and understanding.
- Supporting the delivery of patient care under the direction of the nurse in charge, performing duties with limited or indirect supervision.
- Taking and recording patients’ vital signs, such as temperature and blood pressure, and reporting any changes to supervisors.
- Assisting patients with basic tasks, including eating, dressing, and toileting, as needed.
- Working closely with district nurses to provide seamless support to service users.
- Taking blood samples and preparing them for testing.
