National Account Manager Unity

This homebased role involves converting new national business and managing a portfolio of customers in the workplace catering sector. The role offers an attractive salary plus car cash allowance, training, benefits, and bonus.

About the role

The National Accounts department at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is split into sectors, concentrating on specific market arenas. Reporting to the Business Development Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for converting new national business for Unity and managing a portfolio of existing customers.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Proven key account manager with excellent track record of client management, ideally with demonstrable working knowledge of the workplace catering marketplace
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels, both within the Company and the customer at head office level
  • Decisive, assertive and persuasive in your communications internally and externally
  • Knowledgeable and confident demonstrating category partnership expertise in Wines, Beers and Spirits
  • Able to construct and deliver Joint Business Plans, including marketing and training plans, which deliver incremental profit objectives for our customer
  • A proficient networker both internally and externally

You will be innovative and demonstrate originality and creativity in solving problems and meeting the needs of the client and the sector. A full driving licence is required as there will be travel throughout the country.
