Job Description

Previous demonstrated BEMS experience required in various systems: Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Delta, Priva, Cylon, ALC, Distech & Schneider. Multiple roles open.

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, commissioning of small works and reactive call outs on various BMS systems. You will work as part of a team and independently, possibly supervising junior engineers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Check emails daily for instructions
• Make backups of software and strategy files for sites under service
• Update server with backups regularly
• Take electrical LAN maps of site architecture when applicable
• Design and implement PPM planners for service sites
• Care and maintenance of controls equipment per company policy
• Attend callouts and breakdowns per SLA
• Provide daily updates to line manager
• Complete site reports for each visit
• Build and maintain strong client relations
• Carry out conditional site surveys with detailed reports
• Commission DDC control systems (Trend, Cylon, Siemens, Tridium) – complete wiring and commissioning schedules
• Manage sub-contractors daily
• Enforce H&S interests of company
• Create method statements and risk assessments
• Maintain project folders in line with ISO procedures
• Ensure projects meet client/consultant design specifications
• Report issues to relevant manager
• Procure correct controls equipment for projects
• Create software, wiring & commissioning schedules and O&M documentation
• Ensure work follows method statement and H&S policy
• Demonstrate and handover to client on smaller projects
• Complete weekly timesheets and follow ISO procedures
• Any other duties deemed necessary

Technical Requirements

• Experienced with at least one: Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens, ALC
• Knowledge of Niagara based systems
• Ability to interpret and alter control strategy in BMS systems
• Knowledgeable with HVAC systems
• Electrically competent

KPIs

• Complete timesheets weekly
• Expenses in monthly
• Complete 1 vehicle check per week in Checked Safe app
• Complete a dynamic risk assessment per job (minimum 1 per job)
• Identify and report additional works for quotations generated
