Role Overview

We seek a Trustee with significant e-commerce expertise to contribute to our online retail offering and the sustainability of the museum sector. The successful candidate will mentor the commercial team and drive growth of shared e-commerce solutions.

Key Requirements

  • Strong background in e-commerce (retail, museum retail, or consulting).
  • Natural marketing disposition and deep understanding of digital marketing channels.
  • Driven commercial and analytical thinker.
  • Ability to review e-commerce capability and optimize customer journeys.
  • Sense of brand partnership opportunities.
  • Understanding of cultural sector financial challenges.
  • Love of art and commitment to arts education.

Terms of Appointment

  • Four-year term, renewable once.
  • Quarterly board meetings (in-person at Stoke-on-Trent or via Zoom).
  • Unpaid role, travel expenses reimbursed.
