About the Company
The [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] of Companies (Est. 1976) provide specialist services to the construction and waste recycling industries. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd manages a variety of waste and recyclable materials for households and businesses across the UK.
The Role
We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to drive and operate a RORO HGV vehicle, collect from own sites and dispose of waste at various tipping points.
- Drive and operate HGV vehicle in line with tachograph laws
- Pre inspect vehicle, report any defects in a timely manner for rectification
- Complete relevant paperwork as required by the business and legislation
- Keep the vehicle clean and report any damage in line with company procedure
Key Skills and Experience
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Full training will be given
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Good communication skills
- HGV Driving License
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- A reasonable level of competency of the English Language (speaking, reading and writing) and basic arithmetic.
- Newly qualified or experienced drivers are welcome to apply as full training will be provided
