The Role: General Manager Bristol

We are looking for someone to take the lead at our newest site in Bristol (opening June 2026) and help it reach its full potential. You’ll be building a community for the founding members, while signing up new companies, ironing out facilities snags and building a small team. This is our 15th site so there’s a clear playbook to follow, but every site has its own identity and challenges. We are looking for a confident and engaging relationship builder who is comfortable leading from the front, spinning lots of plates and setting high standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build an exceptional member experience, including delivering an extensive events calendar and building an engaged and vibrant community
  • Ensure impeccable standards across your site - managing operational requirements such as maintenance and cleaning
  • Troubleshooting facilities issues and ensuring sites are compliant and within budget
  • Ensuring occupancy, retention and revenue is maintained in your building
  • Working in concert with the Membership Manager, including touring or joining tours with prospective members, joining retention conversations with existing members, and ensuring key accounts are managed effectively
  • Cultivating relationships within the Bristol ecosystem, creating partnerships and sponsoring events to generate partnership related enquiries, as well as assisting the marketing team with content as and when required
  • Building relationships with your team, motivating them, training them, setting expectations and creating a service-first culture
  • Improving our processes and questioning systems to make them as efficient as possible
