Operations Manager Healthcare – Contract Cleaning
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] seeks an Operations Manager to lead healthcare contract cleaning sites, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
Role Definition
- To build strong sustainable relationships based on mutual interdependency and trust with representatives of the hospitals.
- To identify client service needs and to propose and implement appropriate cost effective service solutions.
- To share the goals of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and the hospitals through our staff and the service we deliver.
- To liaise and constructively communicate with supervisors and staff in relation to the overall pursuit and achievement of a high level of customer satisfaction.
- To manage the contracts within budget.
Client Relationship
- To assume the visible and dynamic leadership of a team in order to deliver first class customer service.
- Build strong personal relationships with the hospitals representatives, and to ensure that site managers, supervisors and staff do likewise in accordance with their roles.
- React on a timely basis to any issues that arise, and if necessary to complete customer complaint forms in accordance with ISO procedures for any complaints received.
- Ensure that all areas of the hospitals are cleaned to the agreed standards and frequencies.
Staffing
- Overall responsibility for the management of site managers, supervisors and staff, including recruitment, training, grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop strong working relationships with all the site managers & supervisors.
- Ensure that all records relating to, staff are available and updated as necessary.
- Set objectives and targets with regard to future training needs.
- Follow up and inspect (in conjunction with the company quality co-coordinator) standards of performance on sites.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.
Administration
- Ensure wages timesheets are completed and submitted to payroll within agreed timeframe.
- Manage holiday schedule for site managers and supervisors so that holidays are reserved in accordance with Holiday Policy, and that adequate holiday cover is arranged.
- Operate all contracts within strict budget requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the Company’s quality, environmental and Health and Safety procedures.
- To ensure audits and service level expectation documentation are completed according to schedules.
