Finance Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of finance activities across two key legal entities within the Software & Data division. This is a varied role combining financial reporting, compliance, commercial partnering, and transformation.

What you'll do
Financial reporting & compliance
- Prepare accurate and timely period-end reporting in line with IFRS
- Deliver statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. VAT returns, FCA reporting, annual accounts)
- Lead and coordinate the external audit process
- Ensure high-quality reporting through ERP systems (e.g. SAGE Intacct, Xero)
Finance operations
- Partner with shared service teams to support smooth delivery across Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, and Treasury
- Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
- Support alignment of systems with a robust control environment
Business partnering
- Produce monthly management reports, including variance analysis and performance insights
- Collaborate with teams across Product, HR, Finance, and Marketing
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decision-making
- Build strong relationships to improve financial understanding and accountability
Continuous improvement & transformation
- Contribute to system integration and finance transformation initiatives
- Support the transition from external accounting providers to in-house operations
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

Skills & knowledge
- Solid understanding of financial reporting (IFRS preferred)
- Knowledge of UK statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. Companies House, HMRC, FCA)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with SAGE Intacct or Xero is helpful but not essential)
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data (including Excel)
- Understanding of core finance processes (P2P, O2C, payroll, tax, treasury)
Experience
- Experience in a finance role within industry
- Experience working in a multi-entity or B2B environment is beneficial
- Exposure to audits, external advisors, or finance transformation projects is advantageous
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Important to know
Location: This role has been listed as UK remote as we offer flexibility in where you’re based but ideally somewhere along or near the M4 corridor as the role includes occasional travel to Haddenham (Buckinghamshire), London and South Wales.
