Role Overview

You'll be the first dedicated talent hire, reporting directly to the cofounder. You'll own end-to-end hiring across all functions, build outbound sourcing, manage hiring manager relationships, and ensure a great candidate experience. This is a founding role with opportunity to build and lead the full People function as the company scales.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end hiring process across all functions
  • Market research and benchmarking
  • Outbound strategy & sourcing
  • Hiring manager relationships: kickoffs, weekly syncs, and candidate quality reporting
  • Candidate experience from first contact to offer
  • Employer brand touch points: posts, job descriptions, how we show up publicly
  • Reporting and results

Requirements

Must Haves

  • Both agency and startup experience - 3+ years in fast-paced agency recruitment and in-house/startup environment
  • Know the full life cycle - from attraction, assessment, offer to onboarding
  • A brilliant communicator and storyteller
  • Operationally excellent - can run 6+ roles at once
  • Aim for best - consider excellent candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Hired both tech and non-tech roles
  • Care deeply for the mission

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in health tech
  • Deeper experience beyond onboarding, into People
  • Experience using Ashby
  • An interest in AI

Compensation & Benefits
