Security Officer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Relief Retail Security Officer. Location: Northampton (covering Milton Keynes, Northampton, Aylesbury). Employment: Part-time. Salary: £13.97 per hour (paid breaks).

Job Overview

You are required to provide safety and security to our customer's property, people and/or assets in line with the published Assignment Instructions, delivering results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators. Provide exceptional customer service to both staff and visitors alike, as well as undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development, all whilst upholding both [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and our client's reputation. As this is a relief role covering both sickness and holiday absences, you must be flexible in terms of what days you work and able to pick up shifts at short notice.

Main Duties

  • Use ASCONE to maintain the security of the site
  • Conduct regular patrols of the site
  • Deliver customer service to both staff and visitors
  • Support the staff with any reasonable request
  • Ensure the relevant reports are completed in order for accurate information to be recorded

What We Are Looking For

  • Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to make instant, positive connections with store teams
  • Self-starter, can act without direction
  • Report writing skills essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
