FULL DESCRIPTION

Parts Delivery Driver

Location: Inverness

Hours: 9am - 1pm (Monday - Friday)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is looking for a Delivery Van Driver to join their team in Inverness. This is a part-time role (20 hours/week) within the Parts Operations.

About the Role

As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will provide an efficient delivery and collection service to trade parts customers. You will also assist with light warehouse duties.

Duties Include

  • Check the quality and quantity of orders, ensure correct paperwork
  • Manually upload parcels for delivery onto van
  • Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within legislation
  • Ensure goods are delivered/collected to/from commercial customers safely, efficiently, on time
  • Ensure security of vehicle and goods during transit
  • Complete all documentation as per company procedure
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies
  • Hold a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 3 years
  • Some warehouse duties may be required

  • Great communication skills and drive to succeed
  • Reliable, helpful, and courteous
  • Ability to cope with customer demands and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
  • High degree of accuracy for checks and paperwork
  • Prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Full clean driving licence (essential)
  • Previous courier experience (preferable but non-essential)
  • Understanding of the local area
