FULL DESCRIPTION

Private Client Account Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Private Client Account Manager to engage private clients, manage wine collections, host events, and drive sales. The role requires wine knowledge with WSET Level 3, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bevica ERP, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Based in London office.

Overview

With the unofficial motto that 'wine connects us', we believe the key to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s growth is finding great people to help build a following for our wines. This includes helping private individuals enjoy fine wine, building collections which will serve them for years to come. We are always keen to meet potential account managers who enjoy developing meaningful relationships where wine is central to that rapport, and who enjoy not just hitting targets but exceeding them along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Engage private clients to help them enjoy the wines we offer, ensuring they are regularly active with us in all the ways possible (buying wine, withdrawing wine to enjoy it, brokering wines where appropriate, storing wine, and attending events)
  • Bring new clients into the business through referrals and other word of mouth initiatives
  • Develop a keen understanding of our range, and be able to help us sell through key lines
  • Write about the wines we feature in a unique, engaging way which helps clients decide what to drink
  • Host events, dinners and masterclass-style tastings

Requirements

  • Wine knowledge: at least two years of experience in fine wine, ideally with at least WSET Level 3
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Preferably experience using Bevica, our ERP, or a similar or relevant platform
  • Comfortable with a dynamic environment, doing things the '[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] way'
  • An entrepreneurial nature, sees opportunities for improvement and makes them happen
  • Able to work well as part of a team and as an individual, with a high degree of empathy and desire for collaboration 'we not me'
  • Enjoys building things from scratch; creative and keen to think beyond norms – as happy to leave the herd as you are to follow it
  • Driven to perform and hit numbers
  • This role is based in our London office, 16A Stannary Street, SE11 4AA.
