FULL DESCRIPTION

Day Services Care Support Worker

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking two enthusiastic and motivated Care Support Workers to join our vibrant Day Services team. This role involves supporting citizens to develop social skills, confidence, independence and overall wellbeing. You will ensure all care needs are met, including personal care, feeding, and moving and handling.

About the Role

  • Support individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities, sensory needs and behaviour support.
  • Work in the Day Centre, community, and local hub sites.
  • Facilitate activities such as cooking, gardening, sensory sessions, arts and crafts.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience supporting individuals with a wide range of needs.
  • Completion of the Care Certificate (can be completed in role) or willingness to complete.
  • Completion of Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
  • Basic literacy and IT skills essential.

Working Hours and Salary

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
  • Salary: £25,374.11 per annum.
  • Closing date: 10th May 2026.
