Customer Delivery Driver - Oxford Superstore
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver for their Oxford Superstore. This permanent role offers a starting pay of £14.18 per hour with additional pay for M25 stores. You will be delivering customer shopping, ensuring van cleanliness, and providing excellent service.
About the Role
Availability Window: Sunday 13:00-22:00, Tuesday 08:00-18:00, Wednesday 09:00-14:00, Friday 18:00-22:00, Saturday 13:30-23:00. Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week (or 12 hours available).
You Will Be Responsible For
- Ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy.
- Leaving the back yard clean and tidy.
- Washing trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Loading the van and checking roadworthiness.
- Talking to customers about order changes and substitutions.
- Taking care of products and deliveries.
- Explaining no extra charge for substitutions.
- Delivering within the customer's time slot.
- Calling customers if arriving early.
- Calling store if running 30+ minutes late.
You Will Need
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
- Warm and welcoming interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs.
- Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations.
- Share ideas with Manager and colleagues.
- A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
