Completions Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Completions Manager to lead a high-performing team in its Sales Operations team based in Cardiff or Manchester. This is a hybrid role with a focus on mortgage completions and secured lending.
What you will be doing
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of 10–12 Completion and Administration Specialists, building capability and confidence.
- Own completions performance, ensuring post‑offer activity consistently meets SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
- Manage workloads through effective capacity planning to deliver smooth, efficient completions.
- Act as an escalation point, resolving issues quickly for brokers, customers, solicitors and internal teams.
- Champion a strong compliance and governance culture, ensuring regulatory and assurance requirements are met.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, policies and ways of working.
- Lead by example, embedding a right‑first‑time mindset and high standards of customer outcomes.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience leading operational teams within mortgage completions, conveyancing or secured lending.
- Strong technical knowledge of post‑offer processes, UK Finance Handbook and HMLR requirements.
- Solid regulatory understanding, including FCA requirements, Consumer Duty and MCOB.
- Experience managing completions across England & Wales and Scotland.
- A coaching‑led leadership style with the ability to develop, motivate and performance‑manage others.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
- A proactive, organised approach with high attention to detail and quality.
