About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will be the face of the company on the road, delivering orders to customers' homes. You'll work within a team, supported by managers and colleagues, ensuring great service with a smile.

Availability Window

• Monday: 17:00 - 23:00
• Friday: 09:00 - 21:00
• Saturday: 08:00 - 15:30

You will be responsible for

• Keeping the van and trays clean and tidy
• Leaving the back yard clean and tidy
• Washing trays as part of tray wash process
• Loading the van and checking roadworthiness
• Talking to customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds
• Taking care of products as if they were your own
• Explaining that substitutions incur no extra charge
• Delivering within the customer's time slot
• Calling the customer if arriving early
• Calling the store if running 30+ minutes late

You will need

• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit
• Warm and welcoming interactions with customers
• Act quickly to respond to customer needs
• Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations
• Share ideas with managers and colleagues
• Valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
