• Mon: 08:00 - 15:00
• Fri: 09:00 - 20:30
• Sat: 15:00 - 22:00

It's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] out on the road, we deliver all the way from Lands' End to John O'Groats. Our Customer Delivery Drivers get the opportunity to meet and talk to different customers in their homes every day. That's why this role is about much more than just driving: it's about helping others and delivering great service, with a smile.

You will be responsible for

• Ensure the van and trays are clean and tidy.
• Leave the back yard clean, tidy and clear of rubbish.
• Ensure trays are washed as part of the tray wash process.
• Load the van as required, check for roadworthiness.
• Talk to the customer about any changes to their order, including substitutions.
• Take care of products/deliveries as if they were my own.
• Explain substitutions and refunds.
• Deliver during the customer's time slot.
• Call the customer if arriving early.
• Call the store if running 30 or more minutes late.

You will need

• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
• Warm and welcoming interactions with customers.
• Act quickly to respond to changing needs.
• Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations.
• Share ideas with Manager and colleagues.
• A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
