About the role

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. It takes lots of different people to run a store and this is a job for doers, with plenty of variety. Being a colleague in one of our stores means that you will help to serve our shoppers better every day. Our [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.

You will be responsible for

  • Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride

  • Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas
  • Putting training into practice to work safely and effectively
  • Making decisions right for customers
  • Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events
  • Being knowledgeable about store performance

  • Accepting deliveries when required
