Rate of pay starts from £14.18 per hour; increases to £15.45 for stores inside M25. Additional payments may apply.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week (or 12 if preferred). Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the windows shown, with 3 weeks' notice of shift times. Flexibility may be considered for closely matching availability.
As the face of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on the road, our Customer Delivery Drivers deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. This role is about helping others and delivering great service with a smile. It's hands-on, physical, and varied – no two shifts are the same. You'll feel like your own boss on the road, with support from the store team.
You will be responsible for
- Ensuring the van and trays are clean and kept tidy/organised.
- Leaving the back yard clean and clear of rubbish, picking up litter.
- Ensuring trays are washed as part of the tray wash process.
- Loading the van as required, checking for roadworthiness.
- Talking to customers about changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions, offering refunds.
- Taking care of products/deliveries as if they were your own.
- Explaining that customers will not be charged any more for substitutions.
- Delivering during the customer's time slot.
- Calling the customer before arriving if early.
- Calling the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
You will need
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
- Warm and welcoming interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs, embracing change.
- Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations.
- Share ideas with Manager and colleagues on how to improve the store.
- A UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Able to adhere to the GB Domestic Driving Rules.
