The role involves line management of FM teams, contractor management, service charge budgeting, and ensuring compliance with H&S and RICS codes. Hybrid working in London. Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 / year.

Role Summary

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the direct management of properties within our portfolio, including management and direction of staff. The role involves supporting buildings and FM based teams, representing [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in the local and regional business and real estate community, line management of a team, and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service. This role will cover both central London and Kent portfolio.

Experience and Salary

  • A track record of FM in multi-let office buildings
  • Across buildings of different ages and sizes
  • Dealing with occupiers through fit out and everyday occupation
  • Good working knowledge of H&S, environmental and statutory regulations
  • Good working knowledge of FM in hard and soft services
  • Reasonable knowledge of networks, building management technology, industry software, compliance platforms and PO/invoice approval systems
  • Demonstrably strong customer service skills
  • Proven experience in service charge budgeting and understanding of RICS Codes
  • Implementing processes and procedures
  • Health & Safety - IOSH/NEBOSH, IWFM Member
