Compensation: £70,000 - £75,000 / year
Reporting To: Senior Building Manager
Role Summary
This role will initially be based at One Millennium Bridge, working closely with the client to successfully bring the property from practical completion to full occupation. As tenants fit out the building, the requirement may shift to 2-3 days at One Millennium Bridge, with responsibilities expanding to the wider portfolio. The Technical Services Manager will provide dedicated technical resource, lead on MEP-focused ESG initiatives, implement smart building technologies, and support net-zero carbon goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with operational team to deliver MEP-focused ESG initiatives
- Lead building optimisation implementations
- Implement smart building solutions and IoT monitoring
- Lead liaison on fit-out, project work, and redevelopment instructions
- Review technical documentation for fit-out and redevelopment work
- Manage MEP/VT supply partners and consultants
- Provide guidance on compliance documentation and actions
- Contribute to Facilities Management, Building Consultancy, and Sustainability teams
Skills & Experience Required
- 4+ years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable understanding of building engineering, technical services, and maintenance in high-quality commercial office property
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, L8, LOLER, PUWER, IPAF, PASMA, CDM, and High Voltage distribution
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, working at height, confined spaces, pressure systems
- Relevant engineering qualification or professional membership (IWFM, NEBOSH, IOSH)
- Computer literate with ability to create spreadsheets, presentations, and reports
