Global IT Finance & Procurement Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Consulting is a global strategy consulting firm. This role leads IT Finance & Procurement, managing a team, budgets, vendors, and IT assets. Hybrid working in London.

Job Summary

The Global IT Finance & Procurement Manager is primarily responsible for leading the IT Finance & Procurement function, providing strategic oversight of IT procurement, vendor and contract management, and financial governance. This role manages a team of two finance procurement and contracts specialists and serves as a key liaison between the broader IT organization, corporate finance, and the London office community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop assigned personnel, setting clear objectives and conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Own and drive the annual IT budget process, working closely with the Director of IT Finance and Vendor Management and the corporate Finance team.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT Asset Management policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide strategic direction and managerial oversight for all IT procurement activities across hardware, software, and services.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with IT leadership, business and finance stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience in IT finance, IT procurement, IT vendor management, or a related field. Bachelor's Degree required; finance or business discipline preferred. Professional certification in ITAM (CHAMP, CSAM) or procurement desirable.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, variance analysis, and spend forecasting.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate organizational goals into process improvements.

Working Conditions

Standard London office working hours with in-office requirement of 3 to 4 days per week. Ability to attend meetings outside standard hours. Occasional travel may be required.
