FULL DESCRIPTION

Location: 7 Enterprise Way, Manchester Airport, Manchester, Lancashire, M90 4AD

Salary: Gross annual salary of £35,000, anticipated Tronc of c. £10,000, plus £3,000 bonus incentive.

Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 45 hours per week, flexible shifts including weekends.

Primary Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing service levels across all F&B areas and being a hands-on operational leader. Key duties include:

  • Acting as custodian of the F&B operation, ensuring highest service levels and on-the-job coaching.
  • Working closely with the management team, Head Chef, and Reception to drive guest experience and commercial success.
  • Managing payroll, rotas, bookings diary, stock takes, and supplier contracts.
  • Developing team knowledge and passion for food and beverage.
  • Collaborating with HR on interviews, training, appraisals, and one-to-one meetings.

Applicant Requirements

  • At least three years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or above in a full-service restaurant [required].
  • At least one year's experience in a leadership position overseeing beverage in a cocktail bar environment [required].
  • Experience working in a hotel environment including being a Duty Manager [preferable].
  • Holding a valid personal license [preferable].
  • Fully flexible in working shifts including evenings and weekends [required].
  • Enthusiastic individual promoting a culture of positivity.
  • Task-oriented with great pride and attention to detail.
