Location: 11 Ferrymuir Retail Park, South Queensferry, West Lothian, EH30 9QZ

  • Salary: Earnings up to £13.75 per hour (minimum £27,170 per annum)
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (38 hours/week)
  • Shift Pattern: 10pm-8am, any 4 nights out of 7
  • Closing Date: 31/05/2026

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Set up meetings and events spaces for conferences and private dinners, ensuring immaculate detailing.
  • Carry out deep cleaning tasks (vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping) in public areas.
  • Work closely with Reception and other departments; assist with room service, guest deliveries, and phone calls.
  • Act as Fire Warden during evacuations; trained in fire evacuation chair usage.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, especially waste handling and manual handling.
  • Maintain knowledge of safe chemical handling guidelines for back of house and public areas.

Applicant Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in cleaning or labouring (strongly preferred).
  • Previous night shift experience (strongly preferred).
  • Eye for detail and ability to work alone.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Proactive and able to work at pace.
  • Task-oriented with pride in work and attention to detail.
  • Flexible with shift patterns and business needs.
