Bank Kitchen Assistant

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Bank Kitchen Assistant to join their team. This is a zero-hours contract position based in [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], Cross-In-Hand, Heathfield, East Sussex. Flexible shifts available, Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

Your Responsibilities

  • Wash all crockery, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate, load, and empty the dishwasher safely and efficiently
  • Assist the Chef with basic food preparation tasks as required
  • Keep the kitchen and food storage areas clean, tidy, and hygienic
  • Lay out trays and support meal service
  • Remove and dispose of kitchen waste promptly and safely
  • Follow strict hygiene, infection control, and Health & Safety procedures
  • Comply with all home policies and procedures
  • Participate in induction and training sessions, including mandatory training
  • Work additional hours when required (with prior agreement)
  • Carry out other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the kitchen

  • Previous catering or kitchen experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
