Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] have an exciting opportunity to join our Marine Asset Integrity Line (MAI) as a Trainee Offshore Data Processor.

As a Trainee Data Processor you will provide support for all data processing activities and tasks. You will provide feedback and recommendations to the offshore and onshore teams.

You’ll be the one responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and profitable execution and delivery of processed data deliverables.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Processing of survey data such as navigation and multibeam echo sounder acquired from Vessel and ROV survey platforms utilising the EIVA processing suite.
  • Ensuring processed data is suitable for charting, reporting and complies with the scope of work.
  • Generating survey data products compatible with GIS software.
  • Constructing survey charts compliant with charting standards.

What you will need to thrive in this role

  • You have a qualification or background in hydrography, geomatics, geospatial sciences, GIS, mapping sciences, oceanography, or related fields.
  • You have a technical background of working with hydrographic / bathymetric data and processing software such as; EIVA, Delph INS, Starfix, Caris and ArcGIS.
  • Willingness to work offshore dependent on operational requirement and contractual terms offered.
  • Proactive, motivated and good communication skills
