We support around 2000 people across more than 300 locations in England and Wales, with over 3,600 staff members.
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], a part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], is a specialist college providing person-centred, community-based teaching and learning within Cornwall, Devon, and Somerset. We work with young people aged 16-25 with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with individuals with SEND
- Patient, supportive, enthusiastic, and creative
- Ability to provide accessible education content tailored to students
- Flexibility to travel across the community
- Skills to support independence and work experience placements
- Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practice
- Understanding of complex behavioural needs
- Experience with Proloquo2, Makaton, or willingness to train
What to Expect
As part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] team, you will support students aged 16-25 with EHCPs to develop life skills in various community settings such as learning hubs, libraries, workplaces, and leisure facilities. You will assess student progress and outcomes, and help provide accredited learning based on a personalised curriculum.
