Overview

Join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], as a Claims Handler. Based in Blisworth, Northamptonshire, you’ll manage your own caseload of pre-litigated claims, including third-party motor and property loss claims.

How you'll make an impact

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of motor claims, ensuring accuracy and meeting service standards.
  • Set up and acknowledge new claims quickly, keeping clients informed every step of the way.
  • Manage claims proactively, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
  • Negotiate with third parties, insurers, and legal representatives over the phone and in writing.
  • Handle credit hire claims with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support Claims Managers and the Defence Operations Manager when needed.

About You

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths, at grade C or above.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to unexpected situations, including working additional hours when required.

While not essential, it would be great if you have: Insurance qualifications. A degree in Law or a related field (or equivalent). Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
