Test Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a strong Test Manager to join the growing technology team. This is a full-time permanent, home-based position (with option to work from Head Office in Portstewart, Northern Ireland). Reference: TM/MKC/0221. Closing date: 26/03/2021.
Job Responsibilities
- Working with the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Chief Technology Officer to build robust test processes.
- Building up and leading the Testing Team in both new application developments and application maintenance.
- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release.
- Deploying and managing resources to support full testing.
- Applying the appropriate test measurements to report on testing success.
Work Hours & Benefits
We expect you to follow a 37-hour week, working from home or from our Head Office in Portstewart, Northern Ireland. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and opportunities for technical growth.
Test Manager Qualifications/Skills
- Strong experience in all aspects of Application Testing.
- Experience of setting up an Application Test environment.
- Experience of team leading and project planning.
- Understanding of relational data modelling.
- Understanding of PHP application development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in application testing.
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with database technologies (MySQL in particular).
- Experience with programming (PHP) and APIs.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
