Key Responsibilities
- Manage the resources required to procure, commission, and roll out EV charging at all [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] locations. Taking responsibility for day-to-day management and ensure successful delivery of all related installation projects
- Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales margins
- Ensure your team collaborates effectively and that resources are optimally allocated to drive revenue growth
- Approach problem solving in an analytical and diligent manner
- Serve as leadership sponsor to large accounts and help drive key executive relationships
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
- Positively challenge the working assumptions of the Heads of Departments to ensure rigour in the assessment of functional plans and commercial investments and decisions
- Possess strong general management capabilities. e.g. an ability to report on key business trends, and create business plans and quarterly reviews
- Monitor and analyse EV charging solutions market developments
- Produce detailed cost analysis
- Regularly update supply chain cost forecasts
- Create tender packs
- Review tender submissions and cost breakdown
- Provide technical support and assistance to engineering team
- On board suitable sub-contractors across the region
- Develop and maintain relationships with supply chain partners
- Assist with the development of design items as required
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the EV charging domain.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting our products and services to customers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
Essential Qualifications / Experience
- NVQ Level 4 or above in a construction/ engineering field
- NEBOSH or equivalent Health and Safety Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Construction Skills Register (CSR) Card holder or equivalent
- Project management experience in the EV/ Infrastructure market
- A keen awareness and commitment to the highest standard of health and safety, and quality. Knowledge of electrical installation and commissioning
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring practices, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and provide guidance
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment to achieve results
- Flexible to adapt to company needs when required
Desirable Criteria
- Business/ Engineering Degree
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or Equivalent
- C&G 2919 Electric Vehicle Charging
- C&G 2921-31 Design and installation of domestic and small commercial electric vehicle charging installations
- C&G 2921-32 Design and Quality Assurance of Largescale electric vehicle charging installations
- C&G 2921-33 Installation and maintenance of Largescale electric vehicle charging installations.
